Fall Piano Lessons begin TODAY!

As we shift seasons, I sometimes feel bittersweet about this change. We are entering the time of cozy sweaters, rainy days with books and tea dates, warm soups/dishes, & times of celebrating holidays with family and friends. However, we are also saying goodbye to our season of summer playtime, long days, jubilance, sun that soaks into our skin, & wild adventures that take us across cities, forests, and sometimes other countries!

Whenever I transition between times, it really helps me to write goals and sometimes reflect on the past to look forward to the future. This first week during lessons, we’ll take a few minutes to reflect and look forward to this year of piano. We’ll create goals based on what worked well last year and take time to look forward to what we can conceive of and accomplish this year. As students get older, my sharing with them because more as peers or colleagues. Reflecting and writing goals is something I personally do in my life. So, I’m choosing to share this with my students and hope that it creates a sense of excitement and drive in our start of this year of piano!

Looking forward to seeing everyone and dreaming up goals together!

Musically Yours,

Liz
