New Year, New Post :)

Happy New Year!

I hope everyone enjoyed a lovely, exciting, relaxing (or any combination) break!  I thought I might share a photo of where I started the new year last week:

One of my favorite pieces to listen to these days is a Piano Trio by Mendelssohn.  I thought I'd share this recording of some very famous musicians playing this Trio.  Evgeny Kissin played Rage Over the Lost Penny, if you've watched that previous video & Joshua Bell is arguably the most famous, living violinist in the world.

Part of the reason I love this piece so much is that I got to play the 1st and 2nd movement (or part) of it when I was in college & I fell in love with it!
